Notice the pattern
Fear of missing out, overconfidence and loss aversion can influence decisions. A written process makes it easier to recognise when behaviour diverges from an intended plan.
Keep a decision journal
Record the reasoning and assumptions behind a decision, then review them separately from the outcome. A favourable outcome does not necessarily mean the original process was sound.
Define practical boundaries
A routine can include review periods, exposure limits and time away from the screen. Education builds understanding; it does not promise trading profitability.
